The use of Lectopia is not restricted to recording
semester-based lectures. The system can be used to record the
audio and video from any event - including one-off lectures,
special events, seminars, conferences, presentations - for
publication online.
Lectopia has been used by a number of areas across UWA to record
special events, including public lectures for the Institute of
Advanced Studies, UWA Staff Orientation activities, and seminars
for Organisational and Staff Development Services. The service
has also been used by external groups (often using UWA
facilities) to record conferences and seminars.

required, anywhere in the world
- Automated recording, publication and online delivery within
an hour of the event’s completion
- Requires minimal involvement from the speaker, giving them
the confidence to present with any interruption to their
